THE UNSTOPPABLES

DAVID BIRO

The Unstoppables by David Biro is just that: once you start the book, you cannot stop. The novel spans 35 years, following three protagonists: a doctor, a gangster, and a cop. Anybody who grew up in the 70s and is familiar with Brooklyn and its environs will be touched by the gravitas, nostalgia, and the tremendous story of growing up.

The Unstoppables has everything a reader wants: crime, a little bit of sex, and the pathos of growing up and finding your way in an often confusing world. The Unstoppables reminds us of what it was like to have your entire life ahead of you and the choices made and yet to be made.

I highly recommend The Unstoppables. It is a book you don't want to end and wish the author had written twice as long.

Five stars for The Unstoppables and the writer David Biro.
