Murder on the Upper East Side reminds me of when I was younger and watching television shows like Beverly Hills, 90210, and Melrose Place- all good fun.

Prescott Academy, a posh private school in Manhattan, is having a charity affair, and Madison DuPont is the driving force behind it. When she attended Prescott, she was the belle of the ball and the girl that everybody wanted to be friends with. Immediately after her opening remarks, she was killed. The prime suspect is a woman named Hannah Miller. Hannah was the complete opposite of Madison. She wasn't wealthy, and she didn't have many friends. Madison had plenty of reasons to be eliminated, top of the list being that she was a "mean girl," which everybody knew, and a fierce bully. Hannah decides to find a suspect, and she uncovers many secrets that are better left undiscovered. This enjoyable story has plenty of twists and turns, and readers will find themselves immersed in a particularly entertaining and nostalgic time when school bullies abounded and the characters we all grew up with dominated. Do yourself a favor and have fun with this five-star mystery/psycho drama.
