FURIOUS VIOLET
SARAI WALKER
Furious Violet by Sarai Walker is a suspenseful tale of a victim driven to the brink of insanity. Violet West is another unfortunate victim of a break-in in Los Angeles. She's writing a book about a serial killer who does their business in Utah—West, herself a crime writer, heads to Colorado to finish her manuscript. After making a stop, West finds a postcard on her windshield that says, "Hello, Mother." West is not a mother, but she is frightened after receiving this missive.
On top of that, she receives a phone call asking her to come home. These disturbances continue and make her believe that she is either being stalked by a serial killer based in Utah or perhaps by somebody else. Tension never stops, and West is near mad with anxiety as the book comes to its startling conclusion. Readers who adore psychological mystery and drama with healthy dashes of paranoia will find this book a perfect summer read.
